Some dogs dash with darts in a field like a crazy chick. They dig up the ground without rhyme or reason. Other people dig a desert in a specific place with a sorcerer of a sorcerer, and dig a bone. Where did this knock come from? Is it a sixth sense or a more elaborate five senses? I never gave a lot of credit to see through. I doubt the latter. These more successful dogs are essentially clearer (or definite) noses. It is clear where the bones are.

A person who knows that the background was zero in the hat business when opening the first village hut shop in the early 1980s says, "Do you know how to do? I am not a bit of a thing , "I understand" will be answered. At first I bought a hat (mainly depending on my original seller's suggestion). People who do shopping will buy a little more. If someone asks for a hat that I do not have, I order him. If the display of the store (that is, the hat is sold from there) is displayed, leave the display on top. If the hat can not be sold, I will remove it. If the customer wants to chat, I did a chat. If the customer wanted to be left alone, I left her alone. As it was obvious whether help is needed or not, "Can I help you? Rather, I listened and listened, listening and answering. The wiretapping tells my friends I asked, "I wanted such a hat in black." I showed a black hat to this customer. Rocket science?

It is surprising how many people in business can not do this. Many people hire a "retail consultant" (you will pay you if you tell me where bones are). Always, this recruiter does not have any clues to know what is happening at the front line of the business, that is, the retail floor where the merchant meets the customer, ie where the bones are. If you do not enter the position to sniff it, you can not react obviously.

So, if you can run around, chase the tail, stop, find the customer, observe and respond. Extend what you learned from this encounter to the universal law of your business. Please try this again next. and again. Instead of hiring that expensive MBA type, we increase customer value and divide savings while starting bone caching.
