Until a few years ago, if I wanted to deal with myself, Westwood was the place to go. When I moved to LA for the first time, I was looking for a place I could walk around ... Let's see shops and others. Something, sometimes, to remind New York City. LA is not a walking town ... but the best place to walk for Santa Monica's 3rd Street Promenade and Westwood Village was said (by Ensino's Susan P.). I have not been there for many years, but after I went to Ron and Westwood last week, I thought that I planned to return to the ...

Westwood is about 30 minutes from my apartment, directly opposite the San Diego Expressway (line 405), to the west side of Los Angeles. A respected university The home of UCLA, Westwood, was once a thriving university town ... there are great shops, restaurants, record stores and a great cinema. The parking lot was painful and expensive ... but it was worthwhile. I could easily spend it in Westwood and I could not have had a good time.

Back, I drove from Hollywood to go to Westwood ... There are 2 slices or 2 pizzas in Gary's La Monica ... check the circuit city of Ice Cream Gayley at the pop of Baskin Robbins Spend a year at the tower record of Westwood Boulevard and check the indie record store or two. Of course, please watch the movie ...

When I started out at Westwood for the first time, it was owned and operated by 6 single-screen theaters, 1 man 4 plexes, 3 artists 3 units plex, general cinema 4 plexes, and a gorgeous movie theater It is called The Crest of the Pacific Theater. All 10 movie theaters are within walking distance. I understand why I love such a place ... it was as if Westwood was really MOVIE TOWN ...

On Saturday night, I visited the old movie street ... and I found ghost town that I found. Since 2006, Westwood had an unpleasant departure. Everyone was leaving, no one was in the house.

Before the movie on Saturday, I took a walk through the brilliant area. Two - story tower records have been abolished ... All other Westwood record shops have also disappeared. The ceremonial aid has gone ... now it's just a vacant space. Even in the garden of the Glendon garden (in the past two premises), I was shocked to know that nothing was placed in that place. I felt the street is now dark and lonely ... but there were some left ...

In N Out Burger is still there ... the place I took Ron last week. And there are Lamonicas ... Thanks Lamonicas are kicking that they are still alive. As long as I can, I love going there. Excellent pizza ... really good. On Saturday I had two delicious Sicilian slices ... I wanted to have more 100. The theme of the place is all New York ... It is very easy for me to love.

My Baskin Robbins is still there ... I have never seen it busy, but it's always open ... even if it is late. After my pizza, I always got a vanilla ice cream cone from Baskin Robbins of Westwood, like Saturday night.

After pizza and ice cream, I usually check the next huge magazine. I could not stop on Saturday, but I checked the music magazine as usual ... I was glad that the magazine survived, but other places are not fortunate It was ... in the Westwood movie theater in recent years ..

Then Mann Westwood 4-Plex was closed and destroyed. It's not a wonderful theater, it's just the same loss. I was watching three movies there ... Gods and Monsters ... Dennis Rodman's Behaviorist SIMON SEZ ... I was seeing myself completely ... I ... No one was in the theater ...

Man Plaza closed. I think there was only a movie there ... a free company ... it was a decent single screen ... I think it was also a balcony. It was a lovely old theater ...

The Manfestival was closed. The seat was not that wonderful. They folded. I guess they have fixed it. There was a lot of experience there. It was when I saw some Jamie Lee Curtis and saved my seat ... It is about a movie like About, About happiness, I have seen some PGA screenings ... It is where the snow falls Was it possible to see ... and after losing my scar with watching IRON MONKEY after the 2004 disaster ...

Man nation was closed and destroyed ... a vacant lot sits in that place ... It was one of my favorite movie theaters in Los Angeles. It had a lot of features in it ... a huge theater had a huge screen ... it was dirty and had a date, but I loved it. In June of 1998 I was pleased to see the opening day of a movie like a WAR, a 30 day tour to small soldiers, ADAM SANDLER, SAY CRAYY NIGHTS, YAYMA. It afflicts me as I think it has remained forever ...

United Artists Westwood 3-plex was closed and destroyed. Now I am a CVS pharmacy. I am not the best theater, but I loved it ... I saw a lot of movies there ... Heart, 15 minutes, other, boiler room, lan Lalan run, American history X etc.

Once a crowd of 10 cinemas was a thriving big city ... Westwood currently has only four theaters left ...

Broxton's Man Regent is currently operated by the landmark theater, but fortunately it works as a single screen. After seeing TUS WITH MUSSOLINI there, Landmark bought it ... I saw something like personal violence and Session 9.

General Cinema Avco 4-plex is currently operated by AMC. It was not a great theater ... never. Nevertheless, there was always something unpleasant. Never felt anyone running the show ... Nevertheless ... I visited the AVCO more than a few times and found that DIRTY WORK, THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR, company man, hot rod, MR. Not only with WODPOCK, but with my mother TAKEN.

Mann Bruin is still alive but still my favorite theater is in this area. The reason is ... There are incredible designs and vintage marquees on the outside, but there is no ordinary Jane inside without familiarity. I saw some things here ... SPHERE, DR. Drift, Freddy Fingered, comfort of dangerous duties, review of National Treasure 2: Secretary.

Crest is now an independent theater that is struggling and owned and operated by a man named Bob. Inside and outside the beautiful art / deco style theater. The last leg is sadly. Bob got out of money ... Sending a desperate email like yourself asking if someone is trying to buy it ... I saw many movies at The Crest ... EVE & S BAYOU, JANE AUSTEN & S MAFIA! , DR. STRANGELOVE (or I love violence, taught me how to stop violence and taught me how to study), ARABIA, BICENTENNIAL MAN, BABYSITTER DIARIES, HUNTING PARTY, ROYAL TENENBAUMS, and a special screening of CRASH and AVIATOR.

Thankfully, the Premier Westwood Theater still remains ... Grand Capitol Historic Westwood Village Theater ... its massive, gorgeous and glamourous for older school architecture and big balcony, until today The first day of the film 's movie. That front marquee is the site to see. When I first moved to Los Angeles in 1998, I immediately visited the village (I saw a visit in 1997). The Village was the first theater in the United States to install the THX sound system (returned in 1983). Every time I went there, it was always a big thrill. I saw as many movies as possible, 3000 miles to TTIANIC, LETHAL WEAPON 4, X-FILES, SIEGE, GREASE, GRACELAND, RED PLANET, SUPERMAN RETURNS, STAR WARS Episode 1: THE PHANTOM MENACE, EYES WIDE SHUT, HOLLYWOOD HOMICIDE (My First Film Premiere), THE BRAVE ONE, and Saturday Night Feat ... SHUTTER ISLAND. If I have a way, I can see all the movies there ...

What happened to Westwood? I really do not know ... Before moving to LA, I heard that there are gang issues ... Westwood might have already died at the time I arrived .. I was just unaware of it. Also, with the arrival of popular and luxurious luxurious factions such as Third Street Promenade, The Grove, The Anericana of Glendale, people are getting less and less reason to spend time at Westwood. It still has UCLA, the Almond Hammer Museum, a live theater for theater, two Starbucks, two or three gyms, and of course many movie premiere happening in the village ... of course ... it is not yet He died. I really miss what it was once ... but I believe ... there are many vacant lots there. It's time for Westwood to come back, it has been late for a long time ...
