Long Jing green tea is Chinese tea produced and produced only in Zhejiang Province, China Fujian Province. Many teas are produced in Fujian Province, but this is probably the most famous one.
It is often the top of the top 10 Chinese tea list you can find all plaster on the internet.
Thanks to myths surrounding tea, it is commonly known as Dragonwell · Green Tea. The story behind the name is an era when hundreds of years ago, a small village in Zhejiang suffered hardships. All the tea crops were failing and they did not know what they were going to do. The monk of the village robbed the dragon to live for the dragon who lived in the mountain, to let the village rain and save the tea crops. Dragon wearing duty, buying rain clouds from the mountain, cultivation of tea flourished. Since then, there was a dragon well that never came out. This is what green tea was named. It is a wonderful story, but what I think is more important is the appearance and taste of tea. Long Jing green tea is easy to distinguish, as pale green leaves resemble a flat sword.
When brewing, the color of your tea must be light yellow / green. Long jing is quite citrus green tea. Light and fresh, with lemon hints. It can be drunk get drunk in winter to help you fight a cold as it has to keep it warm it to vitamin C
To properly brew this tea, it is important to use water at the correct temperature. Pull out fresh water from your water filter and boil it in your kettle. Now cool the water to about 80 degrees Celsius. This will create a perfect brewing environment for your long jing. Too hot it burns cold tea leaves, too cold and tea will not be properly brewed at the right time.
In the case of the average teapot, I recommend using about 3 to 4 grams, but it does some experiments, depending on how strongly you really have your tea. In my opinion, you can always add, but it is difficult to get rid of it.
Please boil the tea for about 2 minutes. If it is not enough for you, you can always return leaves to brewing. The more you brew tea, it becomes the color of black tea when you reach your favorite brewing level.
The fainter the water, the weaker the taste will be.
Instead, I make a nice sweet iced tea. I understand that you should use a cold manufacturing method to make iced tea with Long Jing. It will take some time, but the result is fresh in my opinion. Please cool with ice cube and fresh lemon slices.
